Practice News and Updates - September 2009
Welcome Dr. Heather Moore!!
All of us here are excited to welcome Dr. Moore to our team at Livermore Veterinary Hospital. She joined us in April as a full time
associate. Her wonderful sense of fun and compassion have made her a perfect fit for us. Here is her bio:
Dr. Moore is a 2006 graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Before Veterinary school she received her BS, Summa Cum Laude, in Physiology
with a minor in Chemistry from San Francisco State University. She recently returned to the east bay from Fort Hood, Texas, where she served as a Captain in the
US Army Veterinary Corps. Dr. Moore trained soldiers, examined deploying military working dogs and cared for the pets of military
families. Dr. Moore has a wonderful husband and daughter and a 16 year old kitty, Shawna. She enjoys spending time with her family, travel, scuba diving,
and the outdoors. As a veterinarian, she has a strong interest in pursuing training in the use of herbal medicine, acupuncture and physical therapy. She strives
to provide an integrative, whole body wellness approach to help care for her patients.
Welcome Dr. Lisa Reznik-Zinn!!
We also take great delight in welcoming Dr. Lisa Reznik-Zinn. Lisa joins us as our part time associate. She joined us on September
first, and has fit right in. Here is her bio:
Dr. Lisa Reznik (soon to be Dr. Zinn) has just begun working at Livermore Veterinary Hospital. She just finished a year long internship in Walnut Creek, CA
training with veterinary specialists and emergency doctors. Lisa graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, and received a B.S. in biology
at UCLA. She recently got married to her wonderful husband, Matt. Lisa shares her house with two mischievous cats, and two parakeets that love to chirp. She
enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, keeping in shape, and playing sports. Lisa has special interests in avian and exotic medicine, along
with emergency care. As a veterinarian, Lisa’s goal is to keep pets happy and healthy through every stage of life.
We look forward to introducing you to these two incredible doctors who have joined our team!
